Raimund Hepp is a filmmusic composer, multi-instrumentalist and solo artist originally from Austria.
He is dedicated to bringing stories to life through music, and his expertise lies in feature films (in particular drama, action and sci-fi), natural history documentaries, and music for commercials.
Over the years composed the music for Feature Films like “Der Atem des Himmels” (2010) which won a Golden Rooster Award (Chinese equivalent of the Oscars) for Best Foreign Film, “Alles Fleisch ist Gras” (TV movie 2015), “Erik & Erika” (2018) directed by the famous Austrian rock singer Reinhold Bilgeri more recently also for natural history documentaries (co-)produced by NatGeo, ORF, NDR, ARTE and BR.
He has been nominated at the Austrian Movie awards for best Music and at the Hollywood Music in Media (HWMM) Awards in the category “Contemporary Classical/Instrumental”.
As part of the music team Raimund worked as sound/synth programmer, orchestrator, arranger or composer for additional music in the music team for high-profile Hollywood blockbusters like Roland Emmerich’s Second World War drama “Midway” (2019) or the SciFi disaster movie “Moonfall” (2022) and "The Bricklayer" (2024) directed by Renny Harlin ("Cliffhanger", "Die Hard 2", "Cutthroat Island") or the Apple+ Series "Liaison".
Raimund's style ranges from large orchestral, melodic, sometimes sweeping music to gritty contemporary electronic sounds and sparse sound design.

Music
Raimund's musical style spans from orchestral arrangements to contemporary electronica, with sometimes very gritty sound design. Following both of these passions (classical and modern) was always an adventure and a driving force to him ("Two souls dwell, ah! in my breast" Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, German poet), and many years of experience have made him a master in both fields that complement each other perfectly like yin and yang.
The result is a repertoire from hauntingly beautiful and intimate to energetic and epic orchestral or electronic music.
